At ASMITAA, our mission is to document, digitize and preserve India’s rich textile heritage by creating a dynamic digital archive that safeguards both the artistry and the deeply personal narratives behind each piece. Our approach combines meticulous technical documentation with immersive storytelling, ensuring that textile objects are presented within the broadest historical and cultural context.

Beyond the digital, ASMITAA offers a dedicated conservation space – a physical home for family-owned textiles that need expert care to survive generations. At the same time, we empower individuals and families through training and resources that help them protect and cherish their own collections.
